Cards Against Urbanity Kickstarter – New Reward Tiers & Stretch Goal

The city design card game "Cards Against Urbanity" on Kickstarter is a big hit with urban planners and city lovers alike. In response to demand, the card sponsors GreaterPlaces and DoTankDC, have added new reward tiers: shipping to Canada and a three-deck set for gift-giving. There is also a new stretch goal: if the project hits $25,000, the deck will contain 420 cards (instead of 234).

Washington, DC, October 10, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The tech startup GreaterPlaces and civic outreach group DoTankDC launched the wildly successful card game Cards Against Urbanity on September 17. With more than a week to go, the creators have added reward tiers and a new goal:

1) Shipping to Canada
2) A three pack set ($75 - a $15 savings and includes shipping within the U.S.). The Kickstarter still offers single packs at $30 including shipping. Each deck contains 234 Question and Answer cards.
3) If the project hits a new goal of $25,000 by the close date (October 20, 2014), the Cards Against Urbanity team will increase the number of cards per deck from 234 to 420.

The game, a take on Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity, tackles urban planning Q&A with a humorous take on cities and suburbs. The cards poke fun at the people and places in cities, from park design, to urban hipsters, to complaints about traffic to the people who make public meetings so “colorful.”

The Kickstarter campaign ends October 20, 2014. Cards will ship late November and December in time for the holidays.

Cards Against Urbanity is an unofficial expansion pack of Cards Against Humanity.
