ATE SolidWorks Innovation Day 2015: Inspiring Innovation
Singapore, Singapore, October 17, 2014 --(PR.com)-- ATE SolidWorks Innovation Day 2015 brings together the brightest minds in Engineering and Innovation, to share insights on designing great products. The event serves as a platform for the engineering field to better understand the critical challenges faced by companies. With innovation being the key ingredient for sustainable growth and building long-term value in the engineering field, the event looks into the key components of creating innovation and the best ways of using its results to generate growth and profit.

Mr Wong Keat Tze, Director of Advanced Technology Enterprise, opened the event by welcoming sponsors, speakers and delegates with his inspiring welcome remarks, to set the stage for the rest of the event, which featured distinguished speakers from principals, customers, as well as ATE’s technical team.

ATE’s technical team, featuring CAD Stein, BOM Gates and 3DS Jobs, related the latest features in SolidWorks 2015 in a light-hearted skit to improve productivity, optimise workflow, reduce operation cost and solve more engineering design challenges. Key learning points were reinforced in a Q&A session after the skit, where winners walked away with Dassault Systemes’ sponsored gifts.

The event features exciting activities to encourage fun and interactive learning, including the Design Competition where contestants were hyped up in designing a given prototype in the fastest time possible, to walk away with the grand prize of the XBOX Titanfall Bundle. Other great prizes were also up for grabs during game segments in between presentations, where delegates learned about key functionalities of SolidWorks software solutions.

Advantages of SolidWorks were validated further where ATE’s valued customer speakers, from Wong Fong Engineering Works and Sys-Mac Automation, identified industry challenges and how SolidWorks software solutions and ATE’s technical team played a key role in implementation to support their business requirements towards productivity and innovation.
