Says Baseball Atlanta co-owner Kevin Adamson, “The mission of Baseball Atlanta is to create a resource for the Atlanta Baseball Community where you can get all of your training under one roof, no matter what level of the game you play.”

Adds co-owner Alan Cleveland, “The Atlanta baseball community is one of the largest in the country, with outstanding travel, high school, college and professional teams and programs all over the Metro Atlanta area. We need a place where players, coaches, vendors, instructors, and teams can all find each other. The Baseball Atlanta website will provide the platform for that.”

Players, teams, instructors, training facilities and businesses involved in baseball will all be able to have profiles on the website, said Cleveland.

“We’re not trying to compete with other facilities and trainers in Atlanta,” said Adamson. “We want to help everyone in the Atlanta baseball community find what they need to succeed. That helps all of us and helps the game, too.”

Additional Expo features include HitTrax sessions, a HitTrax Homerun Derby, vendor booths with the latest gear and bats to demo from giants like Rawlings and independent dealers like Carrera Bats. There will also be several door prizes and a raffle for pro-signed memorabilia. There will be a certified nutritionist on hand who can answer questions about safe (and legal) supplements and noted pro trainers Chip and Tripp Smith will stick around to answer performance-training questions for or about elite youth athletes.

The Expo is free to the public but to ensure there is enough space for all guests, Baseball Atlanta™ asks that you pre-register at www.BaseballAtlanta.com/Expo-Reg/. The first 200 people to pre-register will receive a signed photo of Leo Mazzone when they check in at the event. Additionally, Leo will be signing copies of his newest book, which will be for sale.
