“I have watched all the Comedy Central roasts and they had me cracking up,” Jackson said. “The humor was cutting, but hilarious. I was impressed with the talent of the writers and comedians and figured it was something I could do. And at the end, all of the roasters congratulate the roastee.”
All of the roasts are uploaded to Clavell Jackson’s YouTube channel. They are easily shareable on social media. Jackson has done roasts of friends and family and some famous people such as Lil Wayne, Lindsay Lohan, ISIS, President Bill Clinton and Bill O’Reilly.
“The personalized roasts have proved popular, and I have yet to have anyone complain,” Jackson said. “I interview each subject and revise the roasts to make sure they are personally tailored for each client. A roast is a unique gift.”
Jackson added that videos are approved by the client before they are uploaded to YouTube. Each roast costs $19.99.
