World Kindness Day Celebrated in Niantic

World Kindness Day will be celebrated with a labyrinth walk and cyber bullying presentation by school counselor Meredith Tukey. The event is free and all are welcome.

East Lyme, CT, November 11, 2014 --(PR.com)-- World Kindness Day will be celebrated on Thursday, November 13 with a Walk for Peace and a presentation about Cyber Bullying, by Meredith Tukey. The labyrinth walk will be open from 6-8 p.m. and Tukey’s presentation is 6:30-7:30 at Niantic community Church.

Her talk will address: how to prevent and recognize cyber bullying, as well as what to do if it occurs. Meredith has a bachelor of arts in Psychology from Bucknell University, a master’s degree from Boston College in counseling psychology, and a 6th year degree in school counseling from the University of Connecticut. She has worked as a school counselor for 17 years.
