Kids Need to Read Proud to Partner with Barnes & Noble for Holiday Book Drive
Kids Need to Read (KNTR) is the privileged beneficiary of the annual Holiday Book Drives at two Barnes & Noble locations: Desert Ridge and Chandler Mall. The Holiday Book Drive is the bookseller’s annual program where customers can purchase books to donate to each store’s chosen cause.
Mesa, AZ, November 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Desert Ridge and Chandler Fashion Mall Barnes & Noble Booksellers locations are holding their Holiday Book Drive from November 1st through December 21st, 2014. The Book Drives are the bookseller’s annual program where customers can purchase books at the stores to be donated to Kids Need to Read (KNTR).
The Barnes & Noble Desert Ridge location, in partnership with KNTR, has taken on the task to collect over 4,000 books for Title 1 Schools in the Paradise Unified School District. The District includes 1 high school, 2 middle schools, and 12 elementary schools.

In addition, KNTR is the privileged beneficiary for the fifth year in a row at the Barnes & Noble Chandler Fashion Mall location. All donated books will be provided to underfunded schools, libraries, and literacy programs awaiting much needed reading resources throughout the coming year.
