The Pizza Press Set to Open Second Location This December

The fast casual, build-your-own pizza restaurant will open its doors in Old Towne Orange with a Great Pizza Giveaway.

Orange, CA, November 21, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Orange County is welcoming a new dining option this winter with the opening of the second location of The Pizza Press, a fast casual, build-your-own pizza restaurant. Owned by founder Dara Maleki, The Pizza Press will be serving its made-to-order specialty pizzas to hungry students and members of the community at 155 North Glassell in Old Towne Orange this December.

The new location, sitting inside The Plaza, will boast a 3,000 square foot interior, with seating for over 50 people inside, and a front patio to seat another 18 diners. Guests are encouraged to design their own pizza, complete with unlimited toppings, or choose from popular pizzas flavored after regional newspapers, including “The Times,” “The Tribune,” and “The Chronicle.” With over 20 beer taps, The Pizza Press will offer one of the widest selections of craft beer in Orange.

“We are so excited for this new location,” says Maleki. “This location is bigger than our original spot in Anaheim, so we will be able to accommodate the students and families in Orange on a much larger scale. We look forward to working with Chapman University along with other social groups in the area to make this restaurant an instant go-to in this tight knit community.”

The Pizza Press’ Orange location will kick off its opening with a Great Pizza Giveaway event, where guests can expect to enjoy a complimentary pizza to celebrate the grand opening. The public event, featuring a 1920’s theme to match the restaurant’s old-school newspaper concept, will be free to attend (can sign up here: http://www.thepizzapress.com/grandopening) and include a red carpet with a photo booth, raffle prizes and a kid’s corner. Donations will be made to various local student organizations’ philanthropic efforts in hopes to engage a long-term partnership with the students and faculty of neighboring Chapman University.

Maleki is passionate about spreading the brand of The Pizza Press throughout the United States. Opening his first location in Anaheim, CA in 2012, Maleki wanted to build a concept that focused on fresh, quality ingredients and memorable guest experiences. By encouraging customers to create their own ‘newsworthy’ pizza and offering specialty items like salads and ice cream sandwiches, The Pizza Press has maintained a commitment to creating a unique experience until any other assembly-style restaurant.

In addition to the news of its Old Towne Orange location opening, The Pizza Press has recently announced its national franchise program, giving entrepreneurs across the country the opportunity to bring The Pizza Press to their area.
The Pizza Press is located at 155 North Glassell in Old Towne Orange.
