A New Type of Treatment Service for Women is Under Construction in Northwest Wichita

King’s Treatment Center Announces New Program and Facility- Bella Mia

Wichita, KS, November 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Construction is underway on a brand new 2000 square foot facility that will cater to the emotional and clinical needs of women. Bella Mia (Italian for “my beautiful” and referencing Genesis 1:31) is scheduled to open early 2008. According to President and CEO of Kings Treatment Center (KTC), Heath Bechler, “We are very excited to offer this type of service to South Central Kansas. I haven’t seen anyone try this before”.

Mr. Bechler went on to discuss that Bella Mia will be a very non-traditional setting to address substance abuse issues for women, among other things. “Our program will not be the same, sterile environment that has become the norm in counseling services. It will be very inviting, with services designed to meet the very specific needs of women. A ‘menu’ of services that clients can literally choose from will be offered, and there will even be a “waiting area” for children so they can play while their parent is in session.” Bechler also stated that massage therapy, specialized acupuncture, guided meditation and personal assistant services will be offered on its extensive “menu” of services as well. “It’s going to be quite innovative. We are really excited about this concept.”
