Eastern National Announces New Director of Retail

Fort Washington, PA, January 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Chief Operating Officer Kevin Kissling announced that Megan M. Cartwright has been selected as Director of Retail for Eastern National. The Director of Retail, a newly created position, will be responsible for the day-to-day retail operations of Eastern National, sales training, inventory replenishment, and the agency improvement program. Megan will start in this position on February 2, 2015.

Megan has worked for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment at Sesame Place in Langhorne, PA, for the past seven years. Since 2011, she has served as the Vice President of Merchandise. Her responsibilities included strategic planning and all operational aspects of the Merchandise and Warehouse lines of business. She led a team of 300 full-time and part-time employees. Megan worked for Eastern National from 2004 through 2006 as the Unit Manager at the Independence Visitor Center store. Prior to working for Eastern National, Megan was a manager for Borders Group, Inc. and an elementary school teacher in Allentown, PA.

With a background in education, Megan is passionate about training and development, and has actively participated in a wide variety of leadership seminars and workshops. She has served as a retail trainer within SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, and has delivered merchandising management training programs to over 100 Merchandise Managers and Supervisors.

Megan is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in History. She resides in Jenkintown, PA, with her husband Jason, daughter Jessica, and their two dogs.
