Dynamic, Engaging and Family Atmosphere Launches the National Aesthetic Spa Network as a Premiere Event for Spa Professionals

West Palm Beach, FL, January 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Spa and skincare professionals entered the Duncan Conference Center on January 12, 2015 to find that it was a sold-out event. With more than 200 licensed estheticians, spa owners, therapists and vendors attending this year’s event, found it was sizzling with insights and energy. Mary Tolbert, esthetician and spa owner from Atlanta, Georgia kicked off the educational sessions with an inspirational message on Recode Your Destiny, followed by the CEO of Circadia Skincare by Dr. Pugliese, who educated the packed room and gained a better understanding of emerging technologies in anti-aging. The sharing of information continued with a panel discussion with Christine Heathman, CEO of Glymed, Christine Cowheard, Founder of A Natural Difference, Marion Dove, esthetic instructor from Bene's esthetic school and Karen Hodges, esthetician and co-owner of Salon-Gurus. A networking luncheon added to the collaboration of ideas and friendships were cultivated and peer networks strengthened. According to Cristina Proana-Carrion, owner and formulator of Aromandina Essential oils, "NASN is turning into a very special, one of a kind event. The afternoon session was kicked off by Scott Kerschbaumer, owner of the popular Pittsburgh, PA EsSpa, wowed attendees as he shared his enthusiasm and knowledge on how to create $21,000 in just one email! Tina Zillmann, founder of Advanced Rejuvenating Concepts continued to awe the crowd with her eye-opening presentation on intimate treatments from head to toe!

Co-founders, Janet McCormick, Denise R. Fuller and business manager, Gena Flores congratulated Sara Sinaiko, from Sarasota, FL for winning the MediNail Learning Center Scholarship and Meagan Alcorn-Parrett, from Snellville, Georgia had the winning application for the Oncology Skin Therapeutics scholarship sponsored by De la Terre. The 2016 scholarships available are two $500.00 business scholarships sponsored by Circadia and Glymed which focus on spa owners and solo-entrepreneurs wanting to obtain more education in the areas of business, entrepreneurship and marketing. Salon-Gurus scholarship is specific to licensed aestheticians and nail technicians and each will chose a course in their speciality and submit a 500 word essay outlining long-term goals and how winning a scholarship will benefit their career.
