Margaux INC

Portland, OR, November 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Margaux Rathbun, President of Margaux INC (M.INC),founded her marketing and promotions agency in 2006. When the news spread that M.INC would be a fashion-focused company, the amount of adversity Margaux faced was phenomenal. Portland was not considered a fashion-capitol and Margaux was told that M.INC would never survive. Margaux was also 23 years old and considered a “baby” in the business.

Previous to M.INC, Margaux had acquired professional experience at Nike Inc and Clear Channel Radio. With her college degree in Fashion Merchandising (Kent State University), Margaux had always dreamed of owning her own fashion company. At age 19, Margaux founded her first company, JAM Jewelry, which became a vendor for local Nordstrom locations. At age 20, Margaux was writing as a fashion journalist for her city’s local newspaper. Her drive and passion for fashion lead her to create M.INC, which she was set on running, no matter how much discouragement she faced.

Almost two years later, M.INC is running stronger than ever. Services offered include public relations, event planning, sponsorship sales, media buying, graphic design, and general marketing consultation. Unlike large companies, Margaux understands and is cognizant of her clients’ marketing budgets. She will work with all sizes of companies and accommodate all budgets.

M.INC has aided many fashion and jewelry designers, retail stores, photographers, and make-up artists to become successful in their businesses.

Margaux has been recognized by a variety of media including AM Northwest and Alpha Phi Quarterly. She has successfully executed many events including I Love LO (ilovelo.org) and Expectations Portland (expectations-portland.com). Margaux is currently working on planning exciting events focused on the plus-size industry.
