Toronto, Canada, November 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Ever wondered what it’s like to ride your motorcycle around the world on a shoe-string budget with a bunch of your friends?

That’s exactly what Austin Vince and six of his Brit mates did. As Mondo Enduro, they travelled 40,000 miles across 41 countries on 350-cc Suzuki dual sport bikes.

Their adventure lasted 405 days in a successful attempt to set an (unofficial) record for riding the longest land route in the shortest time.

Austin filmed their escapades in Super 8 and the resulting footage became a popular TV series on the Discovery Channel in Europe. Word has it that even Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman learned a thing or two from the Mondos.

Austin also edited the lads’ diaries, now collectively called Mondo Enduro: Around the World Adventure on Two Wheels. The book has just been published in North America by Whitehorse Press (www.whitehorsepress.com).
