Ajit Kohli, Chief Executive Officer of TPD, said, “We at TPD are quite excited about this recent undertaking and look forward to working with the editorial staff at IJNT on forthcoming issues of the journal. It will be a successful partnership that will benefit the members of the neurotrauma community in India who subscribe to the journal.”

"Indian Journal of Neurotrauma" (IJNT), first published in 2004, is the official publication of the Neurotrauma Society of India. IJNT is a peer-reviewed subscription journal with two issues per year (June, December). The aim of the journal is to provide a platform for accumulation and dissemination of ideas and information related to the field of neurotrauma. IJNT helps subscribers stay current on the knowledge, problems and controversies in the specialty. The journal’s approach is holistic, covering all aspects of neurotrauma as they affect the general population and individual patients. IJNT is a standard reference source for peer reviewed data on neurotrauma in India.

Dr. Yashhir Dewan, Editor-in-Chief of "Indian Journal of Neurotrauma," commented, “I am very pleased that Thieme Publishers Delhi has taken over the publishing of 'Indian Journal of Neurotrauma'. Given Thieme’s stellar reputation in medical journal publishing, I am sure that there will be many high-quality issues forthcoming, and I look forward to a long working relationship with Thieme.”

The Neurotrauma Society of India began as the Neurotraumatology Committee under the aegis of the Neurological Society of India in 1992. The Neurotrauma Society was officially announced on 18th August 1999 at Rajkot by the late Dr. Arjun. D. Sehgal, the then President of the society.
