Fluid Imaging Technologies Hires Heather Anne Wright as Technical Customer Support Associate

Scarborough, ME, April 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Laboratory instrumentation manufacturer Fluid Imaging Technologies, Scarborough, Maine has hired Heather Anne Wright as Technical Customer Support Associate. In this role, Wright will be responsible for direct customer support related to the operation of the FlowCam® dynamic imaging particle analysis instrument and its VisualSpreadSheet® software across all markets and applications.

For over 18 years, Wright has been involved in oceanographic research, phytoplankton identification, biogeochemistry, marine science and educational outreach. Her prior work experiences include technical support for ongoing projects in the Balch Laboratory at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences, Boothbay Harbor, Maine where she developed a semi-automated image analysis approach to processing and identifying plankton samples using the FlowCam. She was also laboratory manager for the Shoals Marine Laboratory in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and technical support for the New England Plant Soil & Water Laboratory, a USDA research lab affiliated with the University of Maine.
