RC Ski to Launch on Kickstarter

San Diego, CA, May 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- RC Ski inventor Justin Merrill is proud to announce a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter to raise capital to build RC Ski, a remote control device that allows wakeboarders to pilot personal watercraft (PWC) while wakeboarding.

This innovation in PWC allows for complete freedom when wakeboarding, allowing for a new and rich, personal experience, without the need for a driver or spotter. The driver/wakeboarder controls the speed, engine, and steering PWC via the half-moon handle. If anything should happen to the driver, the PWC will immediate shut down.

The product is being marketed under RC Ski for less than $800. Other PWC devices sell over $7,500. Through the Kickstarter campaign, which launches May 4, 2015, customers will be able to purchase early bird ($399) and special Kickstarter pricing ($499) through the campaign.

The PWC industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and major brands include Jet Ski, Waver Runner, Kawasaki, and See-Doo. Personal watercrafts are sold all over the world.
