Texas Association of Health Underwriters Graduates Over 60 Certified Healthcare Reform Specialists with Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress

Over sixty insurance professionals from the Texas Association of Health Underwriters gathered in San Antonio to earn their Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist® designation.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL, May 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Texas Association of Health Underwriters (TAHU) hosted a session of the Certified Healthcare Reform Specialist® (CHRS) designation for over 60 members today. The CHRS designation is a course for insurance industry professionals taught by authorities on the intricacies of the Affordable Care Act. The course consists of eight hours of educational content and a 100 question exam to ensure they are up-to-date on healthcare reform, created by the Health Care Reform Center & Policy Institute.

“In order to ensure that our clients receive the best help possible, it is essential that we become knowledgeable of the ins and outs of the ACA,” said Nedra Clingan, TAHU conference chair. “The CHRS designation provides a thorough analysis and education surrounding the ACA, and its effects. By staying on top of the law, we can potentially avoid costly litigation or fines.”

Insurance and human resource professionals have two methods to get certified. They can take the course online by visiting: app.healthcarereformcertification.com or can edarn their designation in-person at the 7th annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress in Orlando, FL September 27 – 30.
