Annamacharya 607th Jayanthi Celebrations at Bharatiya Temple Troy MI
Troy, MI, May 13, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Bharatiya temple Troy MI and S Cube TV celebrated 607th Annamacharya jayanthi on May 2nd.

Annamacharya has mentioned key points like everyone is equal, there is no cast system, all gods are one, women have rights to rule the country, through his keerthanas. Around 120 children and 30 musicians participated in this event. Participants sang 65 keerthanas including brahmamokkate, entha matramunevvaru thalachina, narayanathe namo, tirumalagiri raya, bhavamulona bahyamunandu. Saint Annamacharya embedded the essence of Vedas, philosophy, social reforms, romance, lullabies, in his keerthanas. The greatness of his keerthanas is he wrote them in simple words which touch the hearts of common people and lotus feet of lord venkateswara.

Chief priest of temple brahma Sri Janaki Rama Sastry Garu started the program by offering prayers to lord venkateswara and saint Annamacharya. Mini garg, Anand varadarajan, mahaveer ketawat and Venkat paruchuri Garu welcomed the participants and enthusiasts by lighting the lamp. The Annamacharya concert once again proved that music doesn't have any language barriers. Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and telugu speaking people participated in singing. Indiresa maktal and Venkatesh provided mridangam support to the concert while jayShankar Balan's students supported with violin. Shanta Prakash caught the attention of audience with mangambudhi hanumantha.

Narayan swamy, Nagaraj kota and his team introduced each group and warmed up the audience by explaining to them the meaning of each keerthana. Mihir, Anishka and anirudh (kids) gave presentations on Annamacharya life and his literary work. Sankar doaraiswamy, Venkat Didugu and their group made sure the program was conducted smoothly. The program was concluded with a lullaby Jo ochchuthnanda Jo Jo mukumda. Arun pandya, sridhar Srigiriraju and his team prepared delicious prasad for every one. Aspiring movie directors Trivikram Gajulapalli and Bhargav recorded the event.
