2015 2nd Annual Wild Duck Derby in Mount Clemens, Presenting Sponsor This Year is Michigan Kiwanis Clubs; Supports Seven Local Charities

The 2015 Wild Duck Derby will take place at the Clinton River (Gazebo) Park in Mount Clemens Michigan on Saturday, June 6, 2015 from 10am to 3pm. The emcee will be Amy Andrews from Fox TV. There will be special appearances by Rosco the Clown, Dr. Cleo and Molina, Cha Cha the Tree Frog from the Rainforest Cafe and the Wild Duck Derby Mascot. Visit the vendor booths and join in the entertainment for the whole family including the Kid Zone.

Mount Clemens, MI, May 21, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Duck drop will be at 1pm at the Crocker Blvd Bridge in Mount Clemens. Duck Adoptions are $5 each or 5 Ducks for $20 with prizes awarded to the Winning Wild Ducks. Grand Prize is a TrailMaster XRX 150 Go-Kart with accessory package sponsored by Blackbeard Powersports, 2nd prize is 1 year YMCA Family Membership. This year's Presenting Sponsor is Michigan Kiwanis Clubs as part of their 100th Anniversary celebration, www.mi.kiwanisone.org. The Top Duck Sponsor is Beaumont Children's Hospital. All proceeds will benefit and support programs provided by seven non-profits in Macomb County. Hope Center in Macomb helps put food on the shelves for local area families in need. Youth for Christ of East Michigan is dedicated to reaching teens where they are and offers guidance plus a sense of belonging. Macomb Children's Hands-On Museum promotes the progress of Science and Innovation through knowledge of the past and present and to inspire children to use them as building blocks for the future. Junior Leadership Macomb is a free program designed to educate high school Juniors about the assets and issues in Macomb County and the student's role in making the county a better place to live, learn, and work. Kids Against Hunger Utica Michigan Satellite's mission is to significantly reduce the number of hungry children in the community.
