Axiomtek Releases a New Open Frame Panel Computer with Intel® Celeron® J1900 Processor – The FDK172-834

The FDK172-834 is equipped with a 17" TFT LCD, with a resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels, and is specially designed with an open frame bezel for easy customization. This panel pc is designed for immediate integration and can be widely deployed in indoor self-service kiosks, HMI automation, signage and many other applications.

The FDK172-834 provides a wide voltage power supply range from 9V – 36V DC with over current protection for increased system reliability. “Axiomtek’s new FDK172-834 is designed with flexible configuration and deployment efficiency in mind. It is compatible with all versions of Windows® 7 and Windows® 8 including the Embedded Standard. Its ultra-slim size and its thickness of only 65mm make each fit into custom-made, space constricting enclosures. RS-232/422/485 Adjustment & PCIe Mini Card Slot

The FDK172-834 provides two RS-232/422/485 serial ports configurable by BIOS settings. For Wi-Fi and 3G connection, the system incorporates dual PCI Express Mini Card slot for expansion capability.

The FDK172-834 supports a convenient side-access CompactFlash™ and one 2.5” SATA HDD bracket for a storage device. The system’s I/O connectivity includes four COM ports (2 x RS-232/422/485 and 2x RS-232), one 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet, VGA, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and audio (line-out).
