Pacidose, www.pacidose.com is a unique device that feels just like a pacifier, but has a narrow tube down the center allowing for liquid medication delivery to infants. Up to 50 percent of infants are dosed incorrectly with liquid medicine, in part due to rejection and incorrect measurement. Pacidose solves this problem by placing the liquid in the back of the mouth where there are fewer taste buds. A standard oral syringe attaches to the pacifier for precise measurement without the need to transfer the liquid. The caregiver gently depresses the syringe plunger and the baby naturally sucks the medicine without a fuss.

Pacidose is now available for purchase at www.pacidose.com, Amazon.com and select independent pharmacies.
