Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce Announces 37th Annual Golf Outing

The Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be holding its 37th Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at the Chevy Chase Country Club in Wheeling, IL.

Morton Grove, IL, July 17, 2015 --(PR.com)-- This year, September will be the new month that the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce & Industry will hold its big fundraising golf outing. The 37th annual outing is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16, 2015 starting at 11:00 am at the Chevy Chase Country Club located at 1000 North Milwaukee Avenue in Wheeling, IL. Continuing a new tradition started in 2014, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local veterans’ charities supported by Morton Grove’s American Legion Post #134.

One of the Morton Grove Chamber's biggest fund-raising events, this golf outing is seeking those interested in a day of golf and business networking as summer turns to fall. A foursome can be reserved for $560 which includes golf, golf cart, goodie bag, two drink tickets, lunch and buffet dinner. Individual golf and dinner packages are $150. Everyone is invited to attend the dinner for $40 per person to accommodate those who don’t golf.

Sponsors and prize donors will be recognized for their generosity in the Chamber's newsletters, at the event in the dinner program and in press announcements along with signage on the course. Some of the opportunities to support the event range from the "Eagle" and "Birdie" sponsors which include golf. Also offered are Lunch, Beverage Cart or 19th Hole event sponsors along with sponsors for holes and golf carts. There will also be a raffle offering a wide array of prizes. Companies and individuals interested in sponsorships and donating prizes are asked to contact the Chamber’s Golf Committee for more details at 847-965-0330 or director@mgcci.org.

The Chevy Chase Country Club has been hosting golfers since 1927, designed by renowned architect Thomas Bendelow. The championship 18-hole course was renovated in 2002 by Bob Lohmann. There are 125 acres with deep pot bunkers lined with native grasses along with rolling greens and bent grass fairways coupled with four sets of tees to challenge players at all skill levels.

Morton Grove Chamber President Jeannine Como said, "We are looking forward to a great day and I want to encourage everyone to make plans to support this event, especially as we will be donating a portion of the proceeds to local veterans’ charities.”
