Startup Policy Lab’s "Policy Series" Brings Together Lisa Ellman of Hogan Lovells & Jeremy Conrad of Lemnos Labs to a Panel on the Future of the Drone Economy

Startup Policy Lab, a tech nonprofit working at the intersection of technology and government, today announced their upcoming panel to be held in the Runway Incubator in San Francisco on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

San Francisco, CA, July 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Premier event series gathers the technology, startup, and government community together for an in-depth open discussion.

Startup Policy Lab, a tech nonprofit working at the intersection of technology and government, today announced their upcoming panel to be held in the Runway Incubator in San Francisco on Thursday, July 30, 2015.

The event will feature a panel and audience Q&A with Lisa Ellman, co-chair of Hogan Lovell’s Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Group and previously of the White House’s Office of Science and Technology Policy; and Jeremy Conrad, founding partner of hardware accelerator Lemnos Labs; with more panelists to be announced.

“We are very excited to have Lisa and Jeremy join us for the evening. The drone industry is a shifting space pushing the existing boundaries of regulation,” says Charles Belle, founder and CEO of Startup Policy Lab. “It’s critical to understand how regulations will impact the drone economy because continued growth and investment in the drone industry will be substantially impacted by regulators. So it’s important for the community to be able to participate in developing those regulations. We are thrilled to bring policy and tech together in conversation. And really happy to continue our partnership with Runway Incubator as our host partner.”

Tickets are available through Eventbrite and from the website http://www.startuppolicylab.org until sold out. General Admission tickets are $25. Appetizers and beverages are included with admission. Partners for the event include Runway Incubator. For media or sponsorship requests, please contact Ariane Mohamadi at ariane@startuppolicylab.org.
