Raident Technology Announces Secure On-Site Mobile Electronic Destruction Services

Raident Technology, Inc., a leading provider of IT Asset Recovery, Reverse Logistics and eWaste Solutions, today announced it has begun mobile electronic destruction compliance services for SOX, HIPAA, WEEE, GLBA, PCI DSS, FACTA and corporations own internal protection policies through their Silicon Valley Headquarters.

Fremont, CA, December 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Raident Technology was founded to provide high value solutions for IT asset recovery and e-Waste recycling services to Global Fortune 1000 corporations, government agencies, municipalities and educational systems around the world.

Organizations have never had to be more cautious to ensure that their proprietary and confidential data is properly destroyed when electronics reach the end of their lifecycle. Conventional electronic data destruction practices are frequently prone to failure and new laws such as SOX, HIPAA, WEEE, GLBA, PCI DSS, FACTA and other privacy protection laws require specific industries to implement and document all electronic data destruction procedures. More often, businesses are turning to companies that specialize in IT asset recovery in order to meet rigid data security requirements and ultimately to protect their liability.

“Because simple degaussing, erasing and material shredding of electronic data is no longer secure enough; Raident Technology created our proprietary “Mobile Disintegration Technology System” to safely and securely destroy all data leaving an unreadable unreconstructable pile of debris,” says Albert Lozano, President and CEO for Raident Technology. “The idea of blindly shipping sensitive corporate data and technology off-site for destruction shall soon become obsolete,” Mr. Lozano states.

On a client’s premises, A Raident Mobile Reclamation Vehicle “MRV” and team of employees will securely dismantle, separate and then disintegrate all readable data into unrecoverable small particles. Upon on-site completion, Raident issues clients a Certificate of Destruction and Recycling.

The final separated material is then transported to a Raident facility for final sorting into their respective elements; aluminum, PCB, Silica and other base metals, which are then properly recycled according to all regulatory standards. Raident Technology adheres to a strict no landfill policy.

Wayne Gluhan, Director of Sales for Raident Technology, who has over 30 years of executive sales experience in the high technology industries, added, “Raidents on-site destruction service means our clients electronic equipment and media that may contain highly sensitive data or information is completely under our client’s control during the destruction process. This provides additional security and eliminates any chance of data being stolen.”

Unlike other traditional IT vendors or eWaste recyclers, Raident Technology employs an internally developed proprietary technology termed “eAudit”. The main benefits of the eAudit system are:

* A secure web-based proprietary technology promoting a one-stop solution for meeting their client’s Security, Logistics and Environmental requirements.

* Mobile data-collection units providing real-time communication and information access into the Raident eAudit system

* Transparent and fully accountable electronic tracking system

* Real-time web based logistics tracking with the use of a GPS transmitter for security sensitive equipment

* Up-to-date equipment processing status as material is processed for remarketing or sensitive data destruction and recycling

* Availability of final settlement reports, including Certificates of Destruction and Certificates of Recycling, 24/7

* Availability of complete client transaction history, 24/7

Albert Lozano, President, CEO and co-founder of Raident, who has spent his entire career in the electronics recovery industry, commented on Raident’s position in the market place and its benefit to their clients, “The Raident solution is designed to maximize ROI on all excess assets and recycle all scrap material with a process that follows all environmental guidelines; We incorporate our process so it blends in seamlessly to our client’s operations. Raident’s global eAudit system enables us to deploy our asset recovery solutions to any of our client’s worldwide locations.”

PJ Kim, Director of Business Development for Raident commented, “Providing secure onsite electronic data destruction services gives us another valuable tool to better serve our clients complete needs.”
