Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties Receives 2007 Gertrude S. Carraway Award

Carraway Award of Merit, presented by the Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina, for their rehabilitation of the Occidental Life Insurance Building on Wade Avenue. The annual award is given to individuals and organizations that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to historic preservation. Coldwell Banker Commercial TradeMark Properties received the award on Oct. 27 as part of the Preservation of North Carolina Annual Conference at First Baptist Church in Raleigh. The Occidental Life Insurance Building, built in 1955, was renamed the Coldwell Banker Building after restoration.
