Acting Bad Productions, LLC Launches an Apparel Line to Help Support Women, Children, & Men Who Turn to Safe Houses Due to Domestic Violence, Sexual Abuse & Other Reasons

The amazing stage play "Just As I Am" was created to bring awareness to women and children who face some very hurtful situations in life. The play brings light to community involvement through fundraising and seasonal staffing. The owners of Acting Bad Productions, LLC believe in giving back and launching the apparel line is just one way of doing so.

Katy, TX, August 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Acting Bad Productions' team is all about helping individuals and the community. The brilliantly written stage play "Just As I Am" by Curtis Von, is a great platform to unite individuals and bring awareness to domestic violence and sexual abuse that so many individuals face.

As the team reaches out to shelters locally in the Houston, TX area and in the cities the play tours in (Currently Victoria, TX - October 10, 2015 at the Victoria Fine Art Center and Alexandria, LA - November 21, 2015 at the Hearn Theatre), they are finding, that there is not a lot of room to house the women, children and/or men who knock on the door of a safe house. In Victoria, TX one shelter has only 35 beds, in Houston there are some shelters that have 100-125 beds and some less than that.

The company is helping to raise awareness and funds in a few ways. One way is by providing an opportunity for local organizations to raise funding. They also offer seasonal positions in the touring city. Recently the "Just As I Am" apparel line was launched (Jersey T-Shirts and/or Sleepwear) and 15% of all sales will be donated to local safe houses from purchases made at the show or online.
