Las Vegas Attorney and Business Coach Form Women's Business Council of Southern Nevada

Jennifer Braster and Laura Hess offering networking, business development opportunities to develop strategic alliances among Southern Nevada executives.

Las Vegas, NV, August 30, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Jennifer Braster, founding partner of Naylor & Braster Attorneys at Law, and Laura Hess, Master Certified Coach and owner of PUSH Where It’s Easy, have formed Women’s Business Council of Southern Nevada (WBC). WBC is an innovative association of professional women focused on creating strategic alliances to build and strengthen their business.

“As a woman in a highly competitive industry, I have found the Women’s Business Council to be invaluable in helping me hone my skills as a business owner and attorney,” said Jennifer Braster. “Even more important, the organization helps me be the best I can be in all areas of my life. I have met an amazing group of women through this organization.

WBC is open to all Southern Nevada business women. The organization offers educational opportunities, business meetings and events, and community outreach programs to help members thrive professionally and personally.

“WBC has three primary goals,” said Laura Hess. “We create relationships to build and strengthen members’ businesses, use the opportunities from the organization to grow personally, and apply our skills and experience to benefit community organizations. The women who are part of WBC share so much of themselves, and that is what women do naturally. We tap into that energy, laughing and learning along the way. ”

WBC has recently partnered with Hearts Alive Village (www.havlv.com), a local animal rescue that recently opened its first adoption center and retail store in Las Vegas.

Women’s Business Council meets the first and third Thursday of every month from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at Hearts Alive Village, 1750 S. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 4, Las Vegas, NV 89146. Cost is a $5 donation to Hearts Alive Village to attend and RSVPs can be made via email to laura@tcrallc.com.

Braster is managing partner of Naylor & Braster Attorneys at Law. She is a founding member of the State Bar of Nevada’s Animal Law Section and currently serves in the position of Treasurer. Through this position and her litigation practice, she said she strives to advance the protections to animals in Nevada. In 2015, Braster was named a “Woman 2 Watch” by Vegas INC and a “Woman of Distinction” by the National Association of Women Business Owners-Southern Nevada chapter.

Hess is a partner in The Coaching Resource Authority and owner of PUSH Where It’s Easy. She was the founding Treasurer of the International Coach Federation and of the Nevada Professional Coaches Association. As a former CPA, she uses her skills and training in both business and coaching when working with her clients.
