Fun Corps Dives Goggles-First Into Amazon

Toronto-based company launches "comfortable and competitive" swimming goggles on Amazon.

Toronto, Canada, September 02, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Swimming goggles for competitive racing that also fit comfortably on different face types? This vision drove Fun Corps, a Toronto-based company, to develop and market their premiere swimming goggles.

"This is an exciting time for us," Dan Roberts, product manager at Fun Corps, says. "We worked really hard these last few months to create competition-worthy goggles that look great and comfortably fit different face types. We really feel that we achieved our goals and created something that sets us apart from other goggles currently available on the market."

The goggles, which come in a hard shell case, include three adjustable nose bridges. "For us, comfort is key," says Roberts. "We wanted to create goggles that feel good to wear, and fit all kinds of faces. The adjustable nose bridges really contribute to that."

How do these swimming goggles stack up to the competition? In line with their vision of competitive racing goggles, the goggles include anti-fog and UV protection lenses, similar to sunglasses. They also include features which are expected from racing goggles, such as scratch-resistant lenses and split head strap, on-par with established brands in the industry.

The goggles launched on Amazon earlier this month. Fun Corps currently offers them at a price-point of $7.77, a fraction of their full retail cost. "We know our current customers love these," Roberts says, "but Amazon is a very competitive marketplace. Our current promotional pricing cuts deep into our profit margins. We hope this will help introduce us to our customers. We're pretty sure they'll come back for a second pair once they try the first pair for a few swimming sessions."

As part of their product development, Fun Corps included rounds of customer testing and feedback before arriving at their final product. Early customer reviews on Amazon describe them as "sturdy" and "convenient." The company also offers the product on their website (http://funcorps.com).
