Corvettes and Chevy's Headed to Sevierville Convention Center
Sevierville, TN, September 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- This October, Sevierville will be revving with excitement as the Corvette/Chevy Expo brings Tennessee the all indoor Chevy show, and swap meet to the Sevierville Convention Center.

This family-friendly event is running Oct. 16-17 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday, featuring custom and classic Chevrolets and vendors from across the country.

Spectators will be treated to fabulous Corvettes and Chevys that are clearly the movers and shakers in the show car world. The coveted Best of Show Corvette, Best of Show Camaro, Best of Show Chevy, and Best Display Awards recognize the hottest vehicles. “The Corvette Chevy Expo contenders are named based on a number of key factors," said Bill Wolf, Corvette Chevy Expo president. "These vehicles are judged on 100-point criteria and have all proven themselves as noteworthy in the collector car world. A ballot is also given to spectators, who are asked to make their selection for their favorite car for the People’s Choice Award. Awards will be presented in several other categories as well, at the awards ceremony Saturday at 5 p.m.”

Also on display is the award winning 1954 Corvair Corvette Motorama Replica. The 1954 Chevrolet Corvette Corvair Concept car was a 2-door fastback coupe that was on display January 26, 1954, at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York. Finding out that GM destroyed the original car, Mike Terry decided to re-create this historical car.

The Corvette/Chevy Expo will also feature Major National Vendors in the Swap Meet from as far west as El Paso, Texas and as far north as New York! There will be literally semi-loads of Corvette and Chevy parts available at the Expo.

"Since the event's inception, the Corvette Chevy Expo has served as the venue to bring Chevrolet automotive parts and accessories, apparel and memorabilia to the Chevrolet enthusiasts," said Bill Wolf, Corvette Chevy Expo president. “There are thousands of products that improve performance, safety, and convenience, as well as those that enhance appearance and comfort. While products are available for every make and model vehicle, exhibitors are focused largely on the Chevrolet more than any other vehicle. Consumers, therefore, can expect to find more options for accessorizing these vehicles.”

“We look forward to the All Indoor event in the beautiful Smoky Mountains, as spectators and participants from throughout the Southeast region come to enjoy the Chevrolet brand,” says Bill Wolf, president of Vette Vues Magazine and the Corvette/Chevy Expo.

The Corvette Chevy Expo is open to the public with tickets available at the door and online for $10 per person, per day, children under 12 are free. More event information can be obtained online at www.corvettechevyexpo.com or by calling 386-775-2512.
