NJCTS Announces Corporate Sponsors & Honorary Committee Members for 1st Annual NJ Walks for TS at Medford Lakes

The 5k walk and family fun run will take place Sunday, September 20 and will benefit the NJCTS Education Outreach Program.

Medford Lakes, NJ, September 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The NJ Center for Tourette Syndrome & Associated Disorders (NJCTS) is proud to announce its corporate sponsors for the 1st Annual NJ Walks for TS at Medford Lakes—the first of its kind in South Jersey. The 5k walk and family fun run will take place Sunday, September 20, at Beach 1 – Upper Aetna Lake, Tabernacle Road, in Medford Lakes, NJ. Check-in begins at 8am. The walk will be a day of advocacy, awareness, acceptance and action on behalf of New Jersey’s more than 28,000 children and families living with Tourette Syndrome and its associated disorders.

Support for the first NJ Walks for TS in South Jersey is pouring in from all across the region. Nine legislators have shown their support by signing on to the Honorary Walk Committee, with Assemblyman Troy Singleton (D-7) leading the group as honorary chair. Members of the honorary committee are:

The NJCTS Education Outreach Program provides in-service trainings and Youth Advocate presentations to schools and hospitals across the state and has awarded more than 200 scholarships to New Jersey high school seniors with TS.
