Jordon J. Corbett is among the last living Triple Nickles. They were once known as the "Buffalo Nickles" as well as "SmokeJumpers" with the 555th Parachute Infantry as the first black paratroopers.

Hastings, FL, November 05, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On Sunday, November 15, 2015 shortly after Veterans Day on November 11, 2015, Jordon J. Corbett will be speaking at the Mount Zion AME Church, located at 601 Washington Street, Hastings, FL 32145 at 3:30 pm.

Jumping into history with the one of the only Triple Nickles alive to speak at one of the oldest AME churches. Mr. Corbett, served as a paratrooper in WWII and is proud of his military service. He fought two foes: enemy and racism and is a hero never to be forgotten.

Mr. Corbett is now a retired teacher, school board member, former bank director for Citrus & Chemical Bank, twice named as Florida Track Coach of the Year and a member of the Florida High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame.
