Jon and Loretta Runyan to Serve as Honorary Chairs for Food Bank of South Jersey’s Annual Fundraising Gala

Pennsauken, NJ, November 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Food Bank of South Jersey – the area’s largest emergency food provider – is hosting its third annual Viva South Jersey Gala fundraiser. The event features a Las-Vegas theme complete with charity gambling, live and silent auctions, and dinner/dancing.

A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of FBSJ’s Champion Against Hunger Award to Subaru of America, honoring the automaker’s long-time role in supporting FBSJ’s mission and programs.

Who
Former NJ Congressman and Philadelphia Eagles star Jon Runyan and his wife Loretta will be serving as 2015 Honorary Co-Chairs. Bill Anderson, Fox Weekend Co-Host, will serve as emcee. Gala attendees will be a mix of civic and business stakeholders from the FBSJ community: corporate and institutional donors; individual donors; agency partners from FBSJ’s distribution network; FBSJ board members, executives, and employees.

Why
Viva South Jersey is an important end-of-season fundraising event/celebration that serves to connect FBSJ’s many constituents and to strengthen the resolve of all who share in our mission to alleviate hunger in South Jersey. Proceeds from this year’s gala will directly benefit FBSJ’s Summer Meals Program.

Visuals
Attendees can try their luck at 7 gaming tables; approximately 60 auction items will be on display; live entertainment will be provided by Epic Soul band.
