Roig Lawyers Welcomes Five New Attorneys to Litigation Practice Group

Deerfield Beach, FL, November 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Roig Lawyers, a minority-owned, multi-practice litigation law firm dedicated to serving clients across six offices throughout Florida, welcomes five new attorneys to the Firm’s Deerfield Beach office.

“I have witnessed the growth of these attorneys through their professional evolution from law clerks/paralegals to attorneys within the firm. They will be great additions to our firms overall vision and litigation practice,” said firm managing partner, Michael A. Rosenberg.

Sheri-Lynn Corey-Forte joins the Firm’s Deerfield Beach office as an associate and concentrates her main practice on Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault Litigation. She worked for the firm as a law clerk within the Fraud (SIU) Investigations team prior to joining the firm as an attorney. She has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Court Qualified Arbitrator. Prior to joining the firm, Corey-Forte gained experience handling construction litigation cases for a private boutique law firm in Fort Lauderdale. Corey-Forte earned a Bachelor of Science in 2010 from Nova Southeastern University and her Juris Doctorate in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center.

Katrina D. Sacayanan joins the Firm’s Deerfield Beach office as an associate and concentrates her main practice on Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault Litigation. She was a law clerk for the firm prior to becoming an attorney where she conducted legal research and assisted in creating a research database on issues surrounding PIP litigation and insurance defense. As a judicial extern, Sacayanan prepared draft opinions for the Honorable Ivan Fernandez of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2012 from the University of Florida and her Juris Doctorate in 2015 from Florida International University, College of Law.

Sunni M. DeGracia joins the Firm’s Deerfield Beach office as an associate with her main practice concentrated on Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault Litigation. DeGracia has been a paralegal for the firm since May 2014 prior to becoming an attorney. Prior to working at the firm, DeGracia has worked in the legal field for over seven years as a foreclosure law clerk, a litigation paralegal, a personal injury case manager, and a legal assistant. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies in 2008, Criminal Justice in 2010 from the University of Central Florida and her Juris Doctorate in 2015 from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center.

Matthew L. Napier joins the Deerfield Beach office as an associate with his main practice concentrated on Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault Litigation. He worked for the firm as a law clerk prior to joining the firm as an attorney. While in law school, Napier worked as a Certified Legal Intern for the Nova Southeastern University Environmental and Land Use Law Clinic. He advocated to protect the environment and restore sensitive areas such as the Florida Keys and the Florida Everglades and worked with different Federal, State and Local agencies who are involved with land use and environmental law. Napier also worked for a bankruptcy and insolvency boutique law firm as a law clerk where he assisted the firm in managing hundreds of real-estate properties on behalf of the United States bankruptcy trustee. He earned his Bachelor of Science in 2008 and his Masters in Public Administration in 2009 from Florida A&M University as well as his Juris Doctorate in 2013 from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center.

Leeza D. Gotkin joins the Deerfield Beach office as an associate wit her main practice concentrated on Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/No-Fault Litigation. She worked for the firm’s Fraud (SIU) Investigations team as a law clerk prior to joining the firm as an attorney. Gotkin has experience in the area of Family Law. She clerked for the Florida Department of Children and Families, 15th Judicial Circuit where she conducted legal research and assisted attorneys with trial preparation. Gotkin served as a legal intern for a West Palm Beach family law services law firm in which she researched specific legal issues on divorce, collaborative divorce, alimony, child support and parental alienation. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2011 from Emory University and her Juris Doctorate in 2014 from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center.
