Kroger’s EDGE Group Volunteers More Than 2,000 Hours of Service in Mid-Atlantic Division States, Including North Carolina

In The Triangle, Kroger Associates Contributed More Than 200 Hours to Help Organizations in Raleigh, Cary and Durham.

(NYSE: KR), the nation’s largest traditional grocery retailer with 14 stores throughout the Triangle and North Carolina, has announced that associates in its Mid-Atlantic Division volunteered a combined 2,200 hours in communities in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, eastern Tennessee, Kentucky and southern Ohio.

Associates in the Triangle volunteered nearly 200 hours in the month of October to help various community organizations, including the Durham Rescue Mission, Ronald McDonald House, and The Salvation Army, among others.

These associates are members of Kroger’s Women’s EDGE, a group of diverse, strong, focused and caring Kroger associates whose mission is to strengthen women by creating opportunities to grow into leaders both professionally and personally.
