Nancy D. Hruska Joins Leake & Watts After a Successful Career at NYC's Administration for Children's Services

As Leake & Watts’ Senior Director, Program Development, Hruska Will Support the Agency’s Expansion into New Services.

Yonkers, NY, November 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Alan Mucatel, executive director of Leake & Watts, announced today that Nancy D. Hruska has filled the newly created position of Senior Director, Program Development, to help the nonprofit agency pursue and fund additional program opportunities. Ms. Hruska joins Leake & Watts after a distinguished 14-year career at New York City’s Administration for Children’s Services (ACS), where she most recently served as Executive Director, Data Management & Analysis, Early Care & Education.

“Nancy has a firm grasp of the nuts and bolts processes that turn visions into reality,” said Mr. Mucatel. “There are dozens of moving parts when an agency starts or expands programs. Nancy can keep all those parts moving forward. Our agency has doubled in size over the past six years, and we expect to continue this rapid growth. Nancy will play an essential role in that.”

Ms. Hruska said she looks forward to working at an organization that many consider to be a model human welfare services agency. “I kept hearing good things about Leake & Watts and its leadership, and how they were winning contracts to run programs for the city,” she explained. “When I met with the staff at Leake & Watts, I saw that they really live the agency’s core values and missions everyday.”

Ms. Hruska earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and Latin from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. A resident of Bay Ridge in Brooklyn, she calls herself a born and raised third-generation Brooklynite.
