8th Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition Successfully Concludes High Praise for the Quality and Variety of Fashion-Focused Programs Offered

Doha, Qatar, November 23, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Organized by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) in partnership with Design Creationz, the 8th edition of the Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition successfully concluded yesterday. Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition, Qatar’s largest and leading fashion destination showcased modern and high-quality Arabian and Islamic designs.

Nearly 300 fashion designers and leading industry experts from Qatar, the GCC, Europe, and Southeast Asia participated in this year’s lineup of 23 unique and varied programs. With daily fashion shows, high profile fashion forums, lecture series, hands on workshops, and various social programs, the 8th Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition proved to be the most captivating and engaging edition.

Qatar has recently become an increasingly attractive destination for designers and exhibitors, particularly those specializing in Arabian, modest and Islamic fashion. The exhibition offered visitors an integrated shopping experience by convening some 260 local, regional, and international brands under one roof. The 8th edition also provided a platform for young fashion entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and prominent designers; enabling networking, increased sales, brand visibility and recognition across the region.

The exhibition which was held in the state of the art Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre also featured numerous new food and beverage outlets from the private sector. Vendors included Magnolia Bakery, Torino Lamborghini Cafe, Fouj Cafe, and Semi Cafe, as well as the The Diplomatic Club. Strategic partners included Maison Du Joelle (Official Hair and Makeup Sponsor), Munira Flowers (Official Flower Sponsor), Shakespeare & Co. and Massis who set up a premium lounge and social zone. Careem, a private car booking app, was the Official Transportation Sponsor during the week of the exhibition.
