Virtual Assisting Firm Rolls Out New "Project-in-a-Box" Writing Services

Admin Maven's fixed-price packages for select writing-related services are a great option for clients who would rather skip the complex RFP process.

Portsmouth, VA, December 19, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Admin Maven has made selecting a virtual assistant (VA) for short-term writing projects a little easier. The firm's new "Project-in-a-Box" approach takes all the guesswork out of budgeting for and managing select writing or writing support projects by providing a list of specific tasks and dispensing with hourly tallies, using one predetermined cost instead.

The firm's sole proprietor, AnnaLisa Michalski, explains that her new approach is a response to the difficulty small business owners have in shopping for a VA for short term. "Entrepreneurs can justify investing time in the RFP process when selecting a VA to work with for months or years to come," Michalski says. "But when a person needs just a single, short-term project completed, the RFP is often too time-consuming to consider, so finding a VA can quickly get shuffled to the bottom of the to-do list."

Consider all that happens during the RFP process. Upon publicizing an RFP, a business may receive a few proposals--or it may be inundated with scores. Just weeding out those candidates that are clearly underqualified can easily consume hours. The remaining proposals, though they may all be superb, often must be dissected to determine basic points of comparison since the submitting businesses work under such a wide variety of models. Completing this assessment can be a long and dizzying task for an already time-starved entrepreneur.

But the Project-in-a-Box concept allows a short-term VA seeker to bypass all that. This approach offers several one-time services as fixed-price product packages rather than individual proposals based on hourly estimates. Each package listing specifies what information the client provides and, in return, what tasks or steps Michalski will perform. It also defines the exact cost of the completed project--which does not increase if the project turns out to require more resources than average.

"The precise listing along with elimination of the hourly-charge variable allows a client to see at a glance not just what he is getting but also, to the penny, what he will spend," Michalski explains.

Besides the Project-in-a-Box products, Admin Maven continues to offer traditional long- and short-term VA services. View service and rate listings at http://www.adminmaven.com/svcsandrates.htm and the Project-in-a-Box catalog at http://www.adminmaven.com/project-in-a-box.htm.
