New WordPress Plugin Makes Managing Volunteers Easy

St. Louis, MO, December 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Wired Impact, an online marketing company focused on working with nonprofits, has released a new plugin to make it easier for nonprofits to manage their volunteers. The Wired Impact Volunteer Management plugin allows organizations using the WordPress content management system to post volunteer opportunities, accept RSVPs and track participation over time.

The whole purpose is to get more volunteers to sign up and show up to help out.”

The Wired Impact Volunteer Management plugin makes this process simple. It allows nonprofits to:

* Customize reminder emails for one-time opportunities
* View volunteer profiles that track participation

“We wanted to take what many nonprofits were doing manually in spreadsheets for their volunteers and automate those processes directly within their websites,” said Allyson Lough, who was heavily involved in ensuring the plugin’s user-friendly interface. “We tried to keep it all as simple as possible.
