Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC - Yamamato to Succeed Liu

Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC has appointed Hiro Yamamato to succeed Eunice Liu as Head of Private Client Services.

Osaka, Japan, December 26, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Osaka-based wealth manager, Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC has promoted Hiro Yamamato to the position of Head of Private Client Portfolio Management. He will replace the previous incumbent, Eunice Liu, who was recently appointed to the position of division head for the firm’s soon-to-be-opened Shanghai office.

Mrs. Liu is being relocated to Shanghai but she is already conducting the first round of interviews for senior personnel at the new office. Mr Yamamato is another internal hire and carries on the firm’s tradition for promoting from within. He joined Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC in 2010 as junior portfolio manager having worked for Daiwa since graduating from New York University in 2004. He has helped push through operational procedures and new methodologies that have had a positive and material impact upon performance at Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC.

“Hiro’s familiar with all of Eunice’s methodologies and shares her penchant for attention to detail and thoroughness,” said Charles Worth, Executive Vice-President and Co-Chief Investment Officer at Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC. “He has his own unique flair for the business of portfolio management and is well-respected by his colleagues. We think he’ll make a very capable department head.”

Nippon Capital Asset Management J-LLC’s efforts to recruit for its new Shanghai office have gotten off to a good start with Mrs. Liu already in the throes of conducting initial interviews for senior sales, trading and management positions.

“Eunice is more or less living out of a suitcase at the moment but she says she’s having an interesting time and rising to the challenge,” said Worth.
