Hunter Pence Shirt for Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area

Baseball star Hunter Pence teams up with Athletes Brand to raise money and awareness for Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area through a shirt designed by Hunter Pence.

Scottsdale, AZ, March 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- San Francisco baseball star, Hunter Pence, is partnering with Athletes Brand on a limited-time only Forever Grateful shirt to benefit Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area. Beginning today, the shirt will be available for two weeks online at AthletesBrand.com/Hunter.

The shirt was co-designed by Hunter Pence to be a constant reminder for himself to be grateful for opportunities and life. Hunter decided to design this shirt to help use his platform as a role model to influence others to make a difference, and raise money and awareness for a cause that he holds closely to his own heart.

“I chose to support Make-A-Wish® because of the impact it makes on these kids lives. I’ve seen so many special moments, and so many things that have touched me in the most amazing way (from Make-A-Wish®)… The opportunity to see these kids that have had some pretty dire circumstances get to accomplish and get to be the bravery that we all want to be… Forever grateful t-shirts are going to make a difference, and I appreciate that,” Pence said.

The tri-blend Forever Grateful shirt design will be available in a Men's and Youth t-shirt options, as well as a women's racerback tank top. Athletes Brand encourages people who may not have the desire to purchase the t-shirt, to help in the awareness aspect of the campaign by sharing the link (AthletesBrand.com/Hunter) with hashtag #GR8FUL on social media to get people talking about Make-A-Wish® during the campaign.

"Awareness is key for charities of all sizes. Our goal with this campaign isn't to just raise money and walk away. We want to raise awareness, and share what Make-A-Wish® does, in hopes of connecting with individuals on a deeper level so that they want to get involved with the cause for years to come. This is why our #1 goal is awareness and we've set the bar high with hoping to get the foundation in front of 20 million people in 2 weeks," said Athletes Brand Founder and CEO, Kyle Mauch.

As part of this 2 week campaign, Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area will be granting a 17 year olds wish from Weed, CA who was diagnosed with Leukemia. March 25th, Make-A-Wish® and the San Francisco Giants will be hosting Kyle Reed to meet Hunter and other members of the Giants in Scottsdale, Arizona during Giants Spring Training. Athletes Brand will be hosting a booth at the stadium during the game with Hunter's shirt for sale and proceeds going to Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area.

The shirt will be for sale at AthletesBrand.com/Hunter from March 21st through April 3rd only, with proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish® Greater Bay Area. Proceeds will help grant other kids wishes who suffer from life threatening illnesses in Northern California.
