Give Back Malawai

ITH Charities and FACE of HARVEST (FoH) invite you to a fundraising dinner event, Give Back Malawi, at the elegant Golden Bull Grand Cafe, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on Saturday, June 11th @ 6:00 PM.

Gaithersburg, DC, May 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- This fundraising event will include, networking opportunities, great food, live music, a raffle offering appealing gifts will be will be open to attendees that make a monetary donation or pledges for the projects in Malawi.

ITH Charities Partnership with FACE of HARVEST, (501 (c) 3 Corps) ITH Charities partners with FACE of HARVEST (based in California) to host a fundraising event, Give Back Malawi, in Gaithersburg, Maryland, at the Golden Bull Grand Cafe on June 11th, 2016.

The focus of Give Back Malawi is to create awareness and raise funds to support Mzuzu University with screening materials and equipment, Provide free eye-screening and treatment for thousands of children in Malawi, provide the Malawi Ministry of Health with 10 computers to facilitate Electronic Medical Record (EMR) keeping, provide aid to the Ekwendeni School of the Blind, provide specialized medicines and food supplies to hundreds of Albinos (The U.N. warns, Malawi’s albinos are at risk of total extinction amid escalating attacks against them for their body parts). The Honorary Guest and Keynote Speaker for the Give Back Malawi fundraiser, is H.E., Ambassador Necton D. Nhura, Ambassador of Malawi to the USA. Ambassador Nhura, a Lawyer by profession holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malawi and a Master of Laws degree from University of London, University College. Ambassador Nhura lectured in law at the University of Malawi for thirty years. During part of this period, he held the position as Head of Department in the Faculty of Law and Dean of the Faculty prior to being appointed Commissioner of Land in 2009.
