Passy Muir presentation of the designation award will be at a reception at Barlow Respiratory Hospital, on Tuesday June 7, 2016 at 10:00 am in the hospital’s historic main campus library, 2000 Stadium Way, Los Angeles, CA 90026. Barlow’s Medical Director, Dr. David R. Nelson, a Board Certified Pulmonologist and Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, will speak at the presentation.

Barlow Respiratory Hospital interdisciplinary healthcare team includes board certified physicians, registered nurses, licensed respiratory therapists, social workers, physical, occupational and speech therapists, case managers, certified nursing assistants, and dietitians. Together, they devote their expertise to help each patient return home to loved ones or to a lower level of care.

Barlow Respiratory Hospital patients are typically referred by physicians and hospital Intensive Care Units.
