Moldtelecom Delivers Multiscreen Solution with Minerva’s Platform and Mobile Clients
Leading operator in Moldova launches multiscreen solution leveraging Minerva’s service management platform to offer live TV, cloud DVR, and VOD services to their subscribers.
Cologne, Germany, June 08, 2016 --(PR.com)-- AngaCom Minerva Networks, a leading provider of software solutions for connected entertainment, announced today that Moldtelecom, the leading provider of broadband and pay TV services in Moldova is deploying a new multiscreen service that will be powered by Minerva’s integrated service management platform and mobile clients. Using Minerva’s flexible Back Office and robust multiscreen clients for Android and iOS devices, Moldtelecom began offering the service earlier this month.
Moldtelecom worked closely with Minerva to create a compelling user experience that expands the operator’s existing pay TV offering to the mobile experience through custom-branded versions of Minerva’s award winning mobile clients. Consumers will be able to access live content through the application, as well as manage and watch network DVR recordings and video on demand.

Moldtelecom originally deployed their IPTV service using the Minerva iTVFusion platform in 2010, and has seen steady adoption of the offering throughout Moldova. Adding multiscreen services will enable Moldtelecom to continue that growth by reaching new subscribers through its mobile offering.
