HPNow Selected for EUR 400,000 Investment by Innovation Fund Denmark

HPNow has been selected by Innovation Fund Denmark’s highly competitive Innobooster program for a DKK 2.9M (EUR 400,000) investment for the development of its sustainable water purification technology.

Copenhagen, Denmark, June 28, 2016 --(PR.com)-- HPNow ApS (www.hpnow.dk) has been selected for investment by Innovation Fund Denmark’s highly competitive Innobooster program (http://innovationsfonden.dk/en/investment/innobooster) for the development of its sustainable water purification technology. The investment will be specifically directed at water purification and disinfection for agriculture. HPNow’s technology is aimed at displacing chlorine-based chemicals to improve water quality, unclog blocked drippers, and increase root oxygenation and crop yields. Today’s usage of chlorine-based chemicals entails environmental and health impact, increasing regulation, the long term-damage to irrigation lines. and high-maintenance storage and handling. In sharp contrast, HPNow’s technology generates an environmentally friendly yet highly potent disinfectant on-site, which breaks down to pure water and oxygen, leaving no environmental trace. The project will be led by HPNow ApS, in collaboration with Netafim (www.netafim.com/) a world leader in agriculture micro-irrigation products and solutions.

Innovation Fund Denmark invests through its Innobooster program (http://innovationsfonden.dk/en/investment/innobooster) in knowledge and technology intensive initiatives with the potential to create a substantial impact in their market sector.
