Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response and Hazmat Training Comes to the Raleigh, NC Area

Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present mandatory 24-Hour HAZWOPER, DOT and IATA training in Cary, NC.

Raleigh, NC, July 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Chemical spills occur almost daily at large and small companies throughout the US. Frequently, they call upon their own employees to contain the spill or clean up the spill. To protect their safety and ensure that the spills are cleaned up properly, any employees that are expected to stop, contain, and clean up releases of hazardous materials are required to have 24 hours of initial Hazwoper training.

When workers handle hazardous waste and/or hazardous materials, training is not just a good idea, it’s the law. Any individuals involved in the shipment of hazardous materials/dangerous goods by ground or air must receive training mandated by the US Department of Transportation (DOT) and the International Air Transportation Association (IATA).

Environmental Resource Center, the leading provider of environmental and safety training, will present the mandatory training in Cary, NC, on July 25–28, 2016. Classes begin at 8am and end at 5pm each day.

Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response 24-Hr. Course will be held on July 25–27, 2016.

For those involved in the shipment of hazardous materials/dangerous goods by ground and air, DOT/IATA: Transportation of Hazardous Materials by Ground and Air will be offered on July 28, 2016.

Personnel that complete the HAZWOPER course will receive a Hazwoper wallet card. All attendees will receive a training certificate, one year of free Answerline service and handbook updates, and a free subscription to Environmental Resource Center’s safety and environmental e-newsletters.
