PR.com)-- BaySport, Inc. is excited to announce that Karen Woodbeck, MS, PT, OCS, ATC, will be stepping into the position of Director of Physical Therapy. Karen has been a BaySport team member since 2002 as a physical therapist at BaySport's Courtside Club location. She has been instrumental in building the client list in the clinic and has established strong relationships with onsite members, club staff, and community physicians.
As Director of Physical Therapy, Karen will be providing leadership and guidance for the physical therapy staff in terms of patient care, protocol and marketing. In addition, Karen will be interfacing with the business and billing office at BaySport Corporate Headquarters.
Karen has been practicing physical therapy for 20 years and specializes in Sports and Orthopedics, along with continuing her interest in athletic training - her first degree. Her management experience includes 11 years in outpatient care, overseeing multiple employees and locations. During this time, Karen was instrumental in developing and facilitating the 1) Company Coordinator for Clinical Internship Program 2) Volunteer Internship Program 3) Critical Care Pathways, and 4) Job Descriptions with delineating tiers for physical therapy staff. In addition, she grew two clinics from two therapists to four and five clinicians, respectively, with commensurate increases in patient treatments.
