Christian Author Reginald Cooke Says You Can Get Barred from Heaven for Doing Wrong… and Also for Doing Nothing

New book focuses on a universal spiritual truth that was held by people like the late Muhammed Ali, Martin Luther King Jr., and Catholic Priest Father Chase

Columbus, OH, July 24, 2016 --(PR.com)-- It’s always been said that you’ll have trouble getting into heaven if you lie, murder, cheat, or steal. Well now the author of a new book is sounding the alarm, that you can also get barred from the pearly gates if you ignore, fail, or refuse to fulfill your godly purpose in life.

“'Why You Were Made' is a book that uses the words of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, to help an individual know and understand his or her godly purpose in life,” said author, Reginald A. Cooke. “These bible scriptures also reveal that if you fail to fulfill your godly purpose while on earth, you will not be pardoned, excused, or forgiven by Jesus on the Day of Judgment,” he added.

In the book, Cooke uses three stories told by Jesus to explain that a person fulfills his or her godly purpose in life by showing love to others through some kind or generous act or deed. “There’s nothing legally or criminally wrong with walking pass and not helping a man who lies beaten and bloodied on the street,” Cooke said. “However, according to the words of Jesus, that same act will get you barred and blocked from heaven on the Day of Judgment,” he added.

Cooke says the premise or thesis of "Why You Are Made" is a universal spiritual truth that has been followed by many different faiths and religious organization. As examples of people who have firmly held this tenet, Cooke cites the late Muslim boxer Muhammed Ali, Baptist preacher Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and Catholic Priest Father Maurice Chase.

Reginald A. Cooke is a lecturer, motivational speaker, and the author of a series of Christian books. Cooke is also the founder of The One Direction Campaign for America, which is a national initiative to help children excel in reading and math.
