Private Bank of Buckhead Included in Inc. 5000
Atlanta, GA, August 19, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Inc. magazine includes Private Bank of Buckhead (and its Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage divisions) on its 35th annual Inc. 5000, which recognizes the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn and Yelp are Inc. 5000 alumni.

“Our team members, business partners and clients are the reason for our success,” says Private Bank of Buckhead’s President, CEO & Chairman Charlie Crawford. “And, as excited as I am for the recognition of our growth, I’m most pleased that we were able to accomplish this milestone while remaining true to the high-touch service that has been our customer proposition from the beginning. Growth is great, but quality remains our chief strategy.”

The 2016 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2012 to 2015, and includes names like Dollar Shave Club and Yeti Cooler. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. (on newsstands August 23).

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”

The average company on the list achieved three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000. As Crawford noted at the bank holding company’s annual meeting this Spring, Private Bank of Buckhead continues to considerably outpace other Atlanta banks in terms of loan growth, profitability (as measured by return on equity) and quality (carrying less than half the non-performing assets than its peers). It also outpaced its peer group statewide.

“Our growth – on which the Inc. 5000 recognition is based – is an affirmation of our commitment to first-class service on a first-name basis,” Crawford says, “and is directly attributable to our focus on providing our clients with access to bankers and mortgage lenders with decision-making authority who are fanatical about the level of service we deliver.”

Private Bank of Buckhead – now in its 10th year – brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. The bank is designated a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Private Bank of Buckhead is located in Piedmont Center (Building Three). Private Bank of Decatur is located at 150 East Ponce de Leon Avenue in Decatur, at the corner of Ponce and Church Street. PrivatePlus Mortgage is represented in both Buckhead and Decatur, and does business nationally – 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring all the companies on the list will be held in October in San Antonio.
