Four Kittens Transported Over 500 Miles

Rescue Transport USA and Doobert.com volunteers transported four kittens over 500 miles to a new rescue in Ashville, Ohio.

Ashville, OH, September 07, 2016 --(PR.com)-- On Saturday, August 27, Doobert.com and Rescue Transport USA volunteers transported four kittens over 500 miles to a new rescue.

The four kittens, Naranja, Janet, Columbia, and Charleston, arrived to Jefferson County Animal Control in Jefferson, GA, weak and in need of new homes. DASH Animal Rescue in Ashville, OH agreed to take in the four kittens until they could find them forever homes. Rescue Transport USA volunteers united using the Doobert.com system to drive the kittens over 500 miles.

Jefferson County Animal Control found Naranja infested with fleas and with two eye infections. On the other hand, they found Janet with a severe upper respiratory infection. Animal Control nursed both kittens back to health before their trip to Ohio.

Siblings Columbia and Charleston were the runts of their litter and only weighed 1.3 pounds each. They reunited with their siblings, who were transported two weeks prior, at DASH Animal Rescue.

Rescue Transport USA coordinates and carries out rescue animal transportation from high-kill shelters to safety all over the country.
