Orlando, FL, September 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Schakolad Chocolate Factory introduces Cabernet Sauvignon Truffle for Company's 21st Anniversary.

Schakolad Chocolate Factory today revealed the early release of its highly anticipated Seasonal Chocolate Offerings. This release includes the debut of the Artisan Chocolatier's 21th Anniversary Cabernet Sauvignon Truffle using 72% Dark Chocolate, a first-to-market microbatch creation offering the perfect solution for both health conscious and trend seeking chocoholics. To celebrate the company’s milestone 21st Anniversary on September 22, 2016, Schakolad Chocolate Factory is approaching this product unveiling from an entirely new perspective by combining two of the highest antioxidant foods found on earth – Red Wine and Dark Chocolate.

Resveratrol, an antioxidant found in red wine and dark chocolate has long been associated with the prevention of heart disease and other health benefits. Recently, a study published in the Journal of Neuroscience has also found that Resveratrol may also be celebrated as a way to boost memory.

"Dark chocolate of at least 70% cocoa solids is a true superfood but combining it with the health benefits of Red Wine it takes it to the next level," says Edgar Schaked. “We have perfected a process that combines the true taste of the rich dark chocolate without any fillers and the bold flavor of Cabernet Sauvignon wine resulting in a delicious Truffle that chocolate lovers will be raving about.”

The proprietary process is the brain child of Master Chocolatier Father and Son Team, Bernie and Edgar Schaked. Father Bernie Schaked holds the ribbon for the coveted Best Truffle Winner at the Fontainebleau Chocolate Competition and son Edgar is the driving force behind The Festival of Chocolate, named top ten Festivals in the USA.

Schakolad Day is being celebrated in all 20 stores nationwide with sampling and showcase of the 21st Anniversary rollouts.

The Schakolad Chocolate Factory Story - 21 Years Strong.
Baruch Schaked, co-founder of Schakolad, has been a chocolate maker since 1969. He began his career as a chocolatier in Argentina while working for his father-in-law, Gustavo Bar, who was the owner of one of South America`s largest chocolate factories.

Mr. Schaked traveled extensively throughout Europe to participate in courses and seminars at prestigious schools where he mastered the art of chocolate making. His education and passion paid off in the form of numerous first place awards for his scrumptious, handmade truffles at the world renowned Fontainebleau Chocolate Festival.

And, that is just the beginning of the story.

The Schaked`s chocolate adventure really got started when Baruch Schaked announced that he was selling his chocolate shop in South Florida in order to retire. His son, Edgar, determined to keep the family`s passion alive, scrapped his engineering career to continue the family legacy. In 1995, the first Schakolad Chocolate Factory opened in Winter Park, Florida. In 1999, Schakolad began franchising their unique system, creating national and international awareness as the producers of fine quality chocolates using only the highest quality ingredients. Currently, there are 20 stores in 9 states and 2 overseas.
