Innovations’ New Hand-Brushed Wallcoverings

Artisanal quality reflects geological inspiration of October collection

New York, NY, October 20, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Geology, quarried stone, sedimentary layers, marbling and more, inspired Innovations’ nine newest wallcoverings—and so did art. Their Design Studio’s collaboration with artisans led to the natural aesthetic that colors the October collection.

“As artists, we’re interested in the handmade,” says VP of Sales Michael Freedman. “We’re working with artisans to create hand-painted products, to create art. Cascade, for example, is hand-brushed on Japanese paper in the Philippines, and Breccia’s layered collage came about when we were working on a paper cast.”

Breccia layers frame after frame after frame of visual texture onto the wall - or ceiling. The 36 inch-wide, hand-painted, hand-assembled collage of paper squares comes in four metallic colors, each named after a type of brecciated marble.
